Street
Very few of us will have the opportunity to display our art in the high profile galleries of the world. The bold and eccentric instead have chosen the ‘Street’ as their gallery, free for all to see.
I like the faces our ‘Street’ gives us, it’s as though someone is always watching. The alleys, the walls, the mess, the graffiti, the abstract may not be for everyone, but for me it’s where someone is looking for an adventure and to put on a public display.
I can find inspiration in the people I know, urban graphics, decay, a simple road-side marking or row of rubbish bins and dumpsters. What is there not to like about a beautiful face on a decaying wall or the grot of a city’s back alley?
